We worked with Informed Pregnancy, the birth rights advocacy company, to develop a program that focused on rising cesarian rates and the prevalence of repeat c-sections.  The task put to us was to challenge national obstetric policy and advocate for midwifery services in the US.

The initial focus was on governing medical policy but after consideration, we turned the attention away from the doctors and hospital administrations and looked for an approach more palatable, yet still challenging, to the medical establishment.

The result was an hour-long documentary following four women through their births.   A subjective journey that highlights the effect of policy on the women it is tasked to protect,  advocates for patients' rights and recognizes midwifery's place in modern birthing practices.
